Santiago was a recipient of the Fulbright Harriet Hale-Woolley Award for the Arts, acting as an Artist in Residence at the Fondation des États-Unis in Paris, France. She presented two evening-length choreographic works: sig. other (2024), a duet accompanied by a movement chorus, meditating on attatchment and grief; PROCESSION (2025) a large-scale collaboration with filmmakers Antoine Bretilliard and Raphaël Dougé, exploring the slow roll of violence over time. New work is in development for 2026/27.
